CPT Reverse Shackle Kit, Scout II
These new CPT(Crawler Proven Technology) reverse shackle kits are fairly easy to install and work great. Designed for 72'-80' Scout II's with stock or aftermarket lift springs. Fangs are for a 2" wide leafspring and no taller than a standard lift shackle once installed. Angled design of fang allows front axle to be moved slightly forward to keep the tire from hitting the rear of the front fender well yet allows stock bumber to stay untouched in the stock location. This is a shackle thru frame design. Holesaw and pilot drill bit(not shown) included in order to drill holes in the frame for the shackle bushing sleeve. Greatly improves ride quality on road yet absorbs those hard bumps off road. Get your kit today. For better ride quality on the street or for your rock crawler this kit will work - period. This kits come with 5" or 6" long custom made shackles. Welding Required. Front driveshaft may need modification.
